Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our International Business team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing residential spaces and working closely with builders and architecture firms to bring design concepts to life. This role involves creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interiors that meet clients needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their design preferences, project scope, and budget.
- Design Development: Create detailed sketches, blueprints, and 3D models to showcase design plans.
- Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials, furniture, decor, and color schemes.
- Space Planning: Plan functional spaces, including room layout and traffic flow.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with builders, contractors, and architecture firms to ensure design plans are executed accurately.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local and national building codes.
- Trend Awareness: Stay updated with the latest design trends, products, and construction methods.
- Problem Solving: Address any issues that arise during the construction and decoration process.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential interior design.
- Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, strong visual and spatial awareness, excellent communication and project management skills. Proficient in Sketchup, Prolance kind of tools to work on designs.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in interior design or architecture are a plus.
