Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role located in East India. The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating functional and visually appealing interior designs tailored to client needs, developing detailed space plans, and preparing construction drawings. The role involves coordinating furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) while collaborating closely with clients, architects, and contractors to bring design concepts to life. Ensuring timely project delivery and adhering to budgets and design specifications will be key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to create aesthetically pleasing, functional spaces
- Strong skills in Architecture and preparation of Construction Drawings
- Expertise in selecting and coordinating Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E)
- Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Collaborative and effective communication skills for working with clients, contractors, and team members
- Proficiency in design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar
- Relevant educational background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; professional certification is a plus
- Prior experience in residential or commercial interior design projects is advantageous
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, V-Ray, or similar design software.
- Strong understanding of space planning and modular interiors.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Creativity with practical execution mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Sales-oriented approach will be an added advantage.
- Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Freshers with strong portfolios can apply.
- Candidates with residential interior design experience preferred.
- Preferred Candidate Profile
- Passionate about interior designing and customer experience.
- Strong visualization and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Prior experience in modular interiors/home interiors is preferred.
