Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Chennai. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients to understand their lifestyle, preferences, and functional needs, and translate these into creative design concepts for residential and commercial spaces. Day-to-day tasks include developing space plans, preparing mood boards and material palettes, selecting finishes, and coordinating furniture, fixtures, and equipment. The role involves creating and reviewing drawings and documentation, working closely with vendors and contractors, and monitoring project execution to ensure designs are implemented as planned. The Interior Designer is expected to maintain alignment with Home One's standards of elegance, modernity, and comfort while meeting project timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills to create functional, aesthetically pleasing layouts tailored to client needs.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to develop and interpret plans, elevations, and detail drawings for execution.
• Candidates should possess experience with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection and specification to ensure cohesive, high-quality interiors.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools for visualizing and communicating design concepts.
• Strong client communication, stakeholder coordination, and project management skills, including attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, and prior experience in residential or commercial interior projects is preferred.
