Job Description

Review architectural drawings and cross-check layouts for accuracy, resolving discrepancies with the design team
Create and maintain detailed room matrices for guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring accuracy in FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) allocations
Perform furniture, finishes, and accessories take-offs from drawings and organize quantities, dimensions, and specifications in Excel
Prepare FF&E specifications using specification software, ensuring compliance with brand standards, budgets, and project requirements
Use AutoCAD to validate furniture sizes, placements, and overall fit within layouts
Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to verify dimensions and feasibility of designs
Collaborate with senior designers, technical designers, procurement teams, and project managers to deliver complete and accurate design packages
Maintain organized records of design data, revisions, and submittals

Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
35 years of professional experience in a hospitality design firm
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel (advanced level), and specification-writing software (e.g., Design Spec, Spec Sources, or similar)
Familiarity with hospitality brand standards and IDGM processes preferred
Strong analytical, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines
Excellent written and spoken English for clear stakeholder communication and documentation
