Who We Are

Imex Homes is a 20 year-young bespoke furniture and luxury interiors studio in Kirti Nagar, the heart of Delhi's furniture world. We design it, we detail it, and we build it in our own production setup.

We are growing fast and we want to grow faster. More projects, bigger homes and more ambitious pieces are coming through our doors, and we're building the team that will take Imex Homes to its next level.

Why This Role Matters

Every piece we make starts as a drawing. When that drawing is precise, production moves fast, mistakes disappear and clients get exactly what they were promised. When it isn't, everyone pays for it.

That's why this is one of the most important roles in our studio. You'll be the bridge between a client's dream and a carpenter's workbench. Your drawings will be the final word on the shop floor.

What You'll Own

The Drawing Set: Your Signature

• Create complete GFC and production drawing sets in AutoCAD / Revit: plans, elevations, sections and enlarged details
• Detail carcass construction, shutters, edge profiles, partitions and joinery
• Place hardware precisely (hinges, channels, lifts, handles) with the right clearances
• Specify materials, finishes, laminates and veneers on every sheet
• Keep layers, line weights, title blocks and revisions clean enough to be our standard

3D That Explains, Not Just Impresses

• Build accurate Revit / AI generated models of every piece
• Create exploded and assembly views that show how it's built, not just how it looks
• Catch clearance and buildability issues in 3D before they become expensive problems in wood

Workshop: Your Second Desk

• Work hand-in-hand with our carpenters, polishers and fabricators
• Walk the shop floor, answer questions and solve problems on the spot
• Turn site measurements and client changes into revised drawings fast
• Prepare cutting lists and material take-offs when needed

Build the System as We Scale

• Help create our library of standard details, templates and drawing conventions
• Suggest smarter construction methods that save time without compromising design
• Help set the drafting standards future team members will follow

What You Bring

Non-negotiables:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience at a residential interiors firm, furniture manufacturer or turnkey company
• AutoCAD at production level. Not just layouts, but drawings a workshop can build from
• CAD proficiency, including exploded views
• A track record of complete GFC / working drawing sets for bespoke furniture
• Real understanding of carpentry and joinery: carcass, shutters, profiles, hinges, channels and lifts
• Comfort with plywood, MDF, HDHMR, laminates, veneers and solid wood
• A degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field (Diploma holders with an outstanding drawing portfolio are welcome)

Bonus points:

• Working knowledge of Revit
• Experience with wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, TV units and loose furniture
• Basic rendering skills (V-Ray, Enscape or similar)
• Knowledge of hardware brands and their technical specifications
• Forward-thinking ability to leverage the power of AI to work smarter rather than work harder

Location: Kirti Nagar, New Delhi (on-site)

Type: Full-time

Salary: 30,000 – 40,000/month, based on experience and drawing quality

Experience: 3–5 years

Notice period: Standard notice period accepted

Not open to students, interns or freshers. Profiles focused only on 3D visualisation, renders or moodboards will not be considered.
