Job Description

We are seeking an Interior Designer to handle design projects from concept to completion. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and sketching design plans, creating mood boards, and utilizing computer applications in the design process. This role requires a professional with a bachelor's degree in Interior Design, a portfolio of design work, and proficiency in software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design and Conceptualization: Outline design objectives and undertake design projects from concept to completion. Conceptualize and sketch design plans and create mood boards to present your design vision.
  • Project Management: Determine the cost of completion and project requirements during the budgeting phase. Set a clear timeline for the completion of projects.
  • Sourcing and Execution: Source materials and products included in the plans. Inspect the final design to ensure all requirements have been met.
  • Technical Skills: Utilize various computer applications in the design process, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop. Demonstrate strong working drawing and presentation skills (Photoshop and InDesign).
  • Industry Knowledge: Research and stay up-to-date with industry changes, evolutions, and best practices.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • A portfolio of your design work is essential.
  • Experience with computational design.
  • Highly creative, imaginative, and artistic.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in conveying an artistic vision.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, or similar design software.
  • Expertise in layout, color, lighting, material selection, custom furniture, and all installations.
  • Strong working drawing and presentation skills.
  • Experience working on site is a must.

QUALIFICATION:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field is a key requirement.
