Dimensions is a bespoke luxury furniture house with its own design studio in Delhi and its own factory in Manesar. Nothing on our floor is bought in and marked up — it is drawn here, made by our own 120 craftspeople, and finished to the customer's size, stone and fabric.
Which means the person standing on our showroom floor is not reading from a catalogue. They are designing a room, and then having it built.
We are looking for that person for our Sultanpur showroom on MG Road.
The role
Half designer, half salesperson — and genuinely both.
A customer walks in with a room they cannot picture yet. You measure it, plan it, choose the marble and the boucle, show them what it will look like, price it, and close it. Then you brief the factory so precisely that what arrives is exactly what you promised.
You will handle orders from ₹2 lakh to ₹10 lakh and above, for customers who care about material and proportion and will ask you real questions about both.
To be clear about what this is not: we are a furniture maker, not an interiors firm. You will not be executing turnkey interiors. Your design work exists to put the right piece in the right room.
What you'll do
On the floor
- Receive every walk-in, understand the brief, and take them through the collections — the materials, the making, the reason for the price
- Prepare and send quotations within 24 hours
- Follow up until it closes. Our orders rarely close on the first visit
- Own a monthly booking target, and the pipeline behind it
- Hold price without reaching for a discount
- Log every customer and every deal in the system, the same day
On the drawing board
- Measure the space — on site, or from the customer's plan
- Produce to-scale furniture layouts: what fits, how it sits, how you move around it
- Build the finish story — fabric, veneer, marble, metal — from our sample library
- Make simple 3D views or elevations so the customer can see the piece in their own room
- Write the customisation brief for the factory: exact, dimensioned, signed off. This is the part that must never be loose
- Check feasibility and cost with the studio before you promise anything bespoke
Beyond the floor
- Build relationships with architects and interior designers across South Delhi and Gurgaon
- Carry architect-led projects through longer cycles and more decision-makers
- Keep the showroom looking the way a showroom of ours should look — styled, lit, tagged, immaculate
- Stay across live stock and honest lead times. Never promise a date the factory cannot hold
- Stay with the customer through production and delivery, and ask for the referral afterwards
What we're looking for
- 2–5 years selling premium furniture, lighting, modular kitchens, home décor or high-end retail — or an interior design background with real client-facing time
- A degree or diploma in Interior Design is preferred; a strong portfolio counts for more
- A good eye — proportion, colour, material. This part is not negotiable. We will ask you about a piece on our floor and listen carefully to the answer
- The ability to look at a room and know what will fit and what will overwhelm it. If you also work in AutoCAD or SketchUp, that's a real advantage — but our studio can carry the drawings for someone who has the eye and the instinct
- Fluent in English and Hindi
- Comfortable with HNI customers and with tickets that run into several lakhs
- Organised. Quotes go out on time, follow-ups actually happen, and nothing lives only in your head
Be clear-eyed about this
It is a six-day week on showroom hours, and Saturdays and Sundays are the busiest days of the week — weekend offs are not part of this job. There is a monthly target and it is discussed openly. In return, you are not selling someone else's product: you will sit with the people who design and make it, and what you learn here about materials and manufacturing you will carry for the rest of your career.
