Role Description The Interior Designer will work on-site in Chennai in a full-time capacity, collaborating with clients and internal teams to design and execute residential interiors. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, creating detailed layouts, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E, and preparing drawings and presentations. The role involves regular site visits to review progress, ensure adherence to design specifications, and resolve on-site design issues in coordination with project and construction teams. The Interior Designer will also participate in client meetings, refine designs based on feedback, and help maintain BerryBunch.in's standards for quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and FF&E (fixtures, furnishings, and equipment) selection and coordination.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Space Planning and Architecture, with the ability to optimize layouts and integrate design with structural requirements.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, elevations, and sections.
• Proficiency in relevant design software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools) and basic MS Office skills.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to balance aesthetics with functionality and budget constraints.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients, vendors, and on-site teams.
• Experience with residential interiors and familiarity with modular systems, finishes, and local materials is an advantage.
