Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Chennai. The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating innovative and functional design concepts tailored to meet client needs. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, developing construction drawings, selecting finishes and furnishings, and collaborating with architects and contractors to ensure design execution. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to adapt to client requirements while delivering stylish, high-quality interiors.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design concepts
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings practices
- Experience in working with Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) for interior projects
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage client communications and understand their requirements
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools)
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Prior residential design experience is an advantage
