Interior Designer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. As part of our design studio, you will play a key role in conceptualising, developing, and executing interior design solutions across residential, commercial, or institutional projects. You will collaborate with a team of interior designers, consultants, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality design outcomes aligned with client expectations and project goals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the in-house team of interior designers on design and execution assignments.
• Conduct site visits, take accurate measurements, and prepare detailed site reports.
• Develop multiple design layout alternatives based on client briefs and project requirements.
• Finalise interior layouts through iterative design discussions with clients and team leads.
• Understand and incorporate MEP services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting) into design proposals.
• Coordinate and manage communication with service consultants (Electrical, HVAC, etc.) for accurate integration of services.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, working drawings, and specifications for execution.
• Collect and verify consultant layouts and ensure they align with the final design.
• Maintain proper records and documentation using standard filing systems (digital and physical).
• Refrain from discussing project costs, contractor rates, or commercial aspects unless specifically instructed.
• Provide daily updates and progress reports to the Project Head or Director.
• Take on any additional tasks or responsibilities relevant to your role as assigned.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design / Architecture
• 6-10 years of proven experience in interior design execution
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and design software such as SketchUp, Photoshop, or Revit (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of interior design detailing, materials, services integration, and construction processes
• Excellent communication, organisational, and team coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a project-based environment
