Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities
Drafting & Layouts: Assist in preparing accurate 2D floor plans, furniture layouts, electrical drawings, plumbing schematics, and false ceiling details using AutoCAD.
3D Visualizations: Build realistic 3D interior views, spatial models, and perspective renderings using SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or Enscape.
Material Sourcing & Mood Boards: Help curate material palettes, finishes (laminates, veneers, fluted panels, highlight tiles), hardware specs, and fabric selections for presentation boards.
Site Visits & Measurement: Conduct on-site measurements, verify existing conditions, and document dimensions before initiating project drawings.
Execution Support: Coordinate with senior designers, local vendors, and site supervisors to ensure carpentry, panelling, and finishing align with approved working drawings.
Client Presentation Prep: Organize sample kits, digital decks, and visual aids for client review meetings.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience: 0 to 1 year of experience (internship experience at an interior design or architectural firm is a plus).
Software Proficiency:
Proficient in AutoCAD (2D drafting)
Strong working knowledge of SketchUp or 3ds Max
Rendering engines: V-Ray, Enscape, or Lumion
Basic familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and MS Office
Core Competencies:
Fundamental understanding of residential space planning, basic joinery, and lighting concepts.
Keen eye for spatial proportions, textures, and color coordination.
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn on-site execution methods.
Ability to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment
