Role Description As an Interior Designer at Apeksha Dishank Studio, you will work full time on-site in Ahmedabad, collaborating closely with the design team and clients to develop interior concepts from initial brief through completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, preparing mood boards, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). You will produce detailed drawings and presentations, work with architects and contractors to ensure design intent is executed correctly, and participate in site visits to monitor progress and quality. The role involves managing project documentation, adhering to timelines and budgets, and contributing creative ideas that align with the studio's standards of refined, functional design.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate client needs into coherent, functional layouts.
• Candidates should possess Architecture-related knowledge, including understanding of building systems and coordination with architectural teams.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in developing Construction Drawings and technical documentation for execution on site.
• Candidates should possess expertise in FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, finishes, and material specifications aligned with project concepts.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
• Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and site teams.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in residential or commercial interior projects is preferred.
