About the Role:
Akorita India is seeking a passionate and talented Interior Designer with 4-5 years of experience who can independently handle residential and Commercial interior projects from design concept to execution. The ideal candidate should be creative, technically strong, and confident in client communication and on-site management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and present innovative design concepts and detailed 2D drawings and 3D visualizations.
- Prepare technical drawings, detailed working drawings, and construction documents (2D technical detailing is a must).
- Handle client meetings, understand requirements, and provide design solutions accordingly.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), material specifications, and assist in budgeting and cost estimation.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and site teams for seamless project execution.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design intent and quality standards are met.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, and furnishings as per project requirements.
- Collaborate with the design and project teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Key Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
- 4-5 years of proven experience in residential interior design.
- Expertise in 2D technical detailing and 3D design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, or equivalent).
- Can prepare 3D renders
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and market trends.
- Excellent communication and client coordination skills.
- Hands-on experience in BOQ preparation and site execution.
- Strong sense of aesthetics, attention to detail, and project ownership.
