We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Interior Design Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design, strong communication skills, and the ability to guide clients through design selections while driving sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting interior design solutions, furniture, materials, finishes, and décor products based on their needs and preferences.
- Prepare design concepts, mood boards, layouts, and presentations using tools such as Coohom.
- Conduct client consultations to understand project requirements, style preferences, timelines, and budgets.
- Generate and follow up on sales leads to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain product knowledge of current interior design trends, materials, and space-planning techniques.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, invoices, and project documentation.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Support showroom merchandising and ensure displays are visually appealing and updated.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in interior design sales, retail design consulting, or a related role.
- Experience using Coohom or similar interior visualization software.
- Strong understanding of space planning, color coordination, furniture layouts, and interior styling.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
