Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Interior Design Project Manager, located in Ahmedabad. The role involves overseeing and coordinating interior design projects from conception to completion. Responsibilities include space planning, managing construction drawings, coordinating with stakeholders, supervising furniture selection and installation, and ensuring project timelines and budgets are met. The Project Manager will also work closely with clients, contractors, and design teams to deliver cohesive and high-quality results.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist project manager in coordinating daily project activities.
- Maintain documentation including drawings, approvals, and vendor communications.
- Schedule site visits, client walkthroughs, and progress meetings.
- Follow up on material delivery, site readiness, and subcontractor activities.
- Track progress, timelines, and ensure milestone adherence.
- Report project status and issues to the manager.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Space Planning and Interior Design
- Strong Project Management skills to oversee timelines, budgets, and project delivery
- Proficiency in working with Construction Drawings and understanding design specifications
- Knowledge of furniture selection, sourcing, and installation
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors effectively
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD or similar tools is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Experience in a similar project management role is an advantage
