Job Title: Interior Design Intern

Location: Akkarai, ECR, Chennai

Duration: 36 Months

Stipend: 3,000 5,000 per month

Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and creative Interior Design Intern to join our team at our studio in Akkarai, ECR. This role offers hands-on experience in residential and/or commercial interior projects, with exposure to both design and site execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing design concepts, layouts, and space planning
• Prepare mood boards, material palettes, and client presentations
• Create 2D drawings and 3D models using design software
• Support in site visits, measurements, and documentation
• Research materials, furniture, and finishes
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers
• Assist in project execution and follow-ups

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Interior Design
• Basic knowledge of design principles and space planning
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and creativity
• Willingness to travel for site visits along ECR and nearby areas

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Knowledge of 3Ds Max, V-Ray, or Photoshop
• Basic understanding of materials, finishes, and furniture
• Portfolio of academic or personal design work
