Job Description

Interior Design Engineer (Faculty) Part-Time

Experience: 5+ Years

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional training in Interior Design principles, space planning, materials, and design standards.
  • Teach industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Lumion, and Photoshop.
  • Prepare and update course materials, practical exercises, and project-based assignments.
  • Guide students in developing design drawings, 3D models, renderings, and presentation boards.
  • Provide hands-on training in residential, commercial, and hospitality interior design projects.
  • Mentor students on furniture layouts, material selection, construction details, and design documentation.
  • Assess student performance through assignments, project reviews, and evaluations.
  • Conduct workshops and portfolio development sessions to enhance industry readiness.
  • Stay updated with current design trends, building regulations, and industry best practices.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Interior Design concepts and construction methodologies.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Lumion, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring abilities.
  • Prior teaching, training, or faculty experience will be an added advantage.
