Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Design Consultant role based in Gurugram, with a compensation range of 3–5 LPA. The Interior Design Consultant will meet with clients to understand their lifestyle, design preferences, space requirements, and budget, and translate these into tailored interior design concepts. Responsibilities include creating mood boards, layouts, and furniture plans; recommending materials, finishes, and décor; and coordinating with internal design, project, and vendor teams to ensure timely and quality execution. The consultant will guide clients through product options, including furniture and fittings, provide detailed quotations, and support sales closures while maintaining excellent customer service. The role also involves managing client communication throughout the project lifecycle, visiting sites as needed, and ensuring that the final delivery aligns with agreed design and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client consultations, presentations, and cross-functional coordination.
- Customer service and client relationship management skills to ensure a positive, professional, and solution-oriented experience.
- Hands-on interior design skills, including space planning, color coordination, and knowledge of materials, finishes, and design trends.
- Sales and consultative selling skills to convert leads, explain design proposals, and support revenue targets.
- Knowledge of furniture selection, layout planning, and integration of furnishings into overall design concepts.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization software) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and a portfolio demonstrating interior design or consulting work is an advantage.
