Interior Design Consultant

Role Description The Interior Design Consultant is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru. This role involves meeting with clients to understand their requirements, budget, and design preferences, and translating these into practical, aesthetic design concepts. The consultant will prepare layouts, mood boards, and material selections; coordinate with vendors and contractors; and oversee implementation to ensure designs are executed as planned. Day-to-day responsibilities include site visits, project documentation, cost estimation, and timelines management, as well as providing guidance on furniture, finishes, and decor. The role also requires regular communication with clients to address questions, provide updates, and ensure a smooth and satisfying design experience.
Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design skills, including space planning, color theory, materials and finishes selection.
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to manage client interactions and expectations.
• Sales and negotiation abilities to present design proposals, upsell services, and close projects.
• Knowledge of Furniture design and selection, including modular furniture and custom solutions.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization tools) and MS Office.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in residential and/or commercial interior projects, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to work on-site, conduct regular site visits, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
