Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Interior Design Consultant role based in Bengaluru. The Interior Design Consultant will meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets, and translate these into design concepts and mood boards. Daily tasks include selecting furniture, finishes, and materials, preparing layout plans, and coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely execution. The role involves guiding clients through product options in the studio or showroom, advising on sustainable and practical choices, and supporting overall sales efforts. The consultant will also provide after-sales support, respond to client queries, and help maintain an organized, welcoming design environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with clients, understand requirements, and build long-term relationships.
• Proficiency in Interior Design, including space planning, material selection, and creating cohesive design concepts.
• Sales skills to present design solutions, explain product benefits, and support closing design and furniture sales.
• Knowledge of Furniture types, finishes, and ergonomic considerations to recommend suitable pieces for different spaces.
• Relevant education or certification in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple client projects, and collaborate with vendors and team members.
• Familiarity with basic design tools or software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) is an advantage.
• Interest in sustainable design practices and mindful, client-centric interiors is highly beneficial.
