Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Design Consultant role based in Gurugram, with a compensation range of 3–6 LPA. The Interior Design Consultant will meet with clients to understand their requirements, style preferences, budgets, and functional needs for residential spaces. The role involves preparing and presenting design concepts, mood boards, and layout options, including recommendations for furniture, materials, finishes, and décor. The consultant will coordinate with internal design, project, and procurement teams to ensure timely execution of approved plans. Day-to-day responsibilities also include guiding clients through product selections, explaining design choices, supporting sales conversions, and providing high-quality customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and Communication skills to understand client needs, present concepts clearly, and collaborate with internal teams.
- Demonstrated Customer Service abilities, including responsiveness, empathy, and professional client handling throughout the project.
- Proficiency in Interior Design principles, space planning, color theory, and materials; familiarity with design tools or software is an advantage.
- Experience in Sales, with the ability to convert inquiries into confirmed projects and meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Knowledge of Furniture types, finishes, and layouts, with the ability to recommend suitable products based on design and budget.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in residential interior design, home décor, or related industries is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
