Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Interior Cutlist Specialist based in Chennai. The primary responsibilities include preparing precise cutlists for furniture and modular designs, ensuring optimal use of materials, collaborating with design and production teams to ensure accuracy, and troubleshooting any discrepancies within design specifications. Additional duties involve managing inventory data related to raw materials and proactive communication with vendors or suppliers regarding material requirements to align with project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing detailed cutlists and understanding of modular design techniques
- Strong technical knowledge in furniture manufacturing, materials, and production processes
- Proficiency in CAD software, MS Excel, and other design-related software tools
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to ensure precision in measurements
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with design teams and suppliers
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Experience in the interior designing or cabinetry industry is an added advantage
