Interior Designer Responsibilities:
- Space Planning: Plan and organize interior spaces to ensure efficient use of available space.
- Design Development: Create interior design concepts, layouts, and themes based on client requirements.
- Client Consultation: Meet clients to understand their preferences, requirements, lifestyle, and budget.
- Material Selection: Select appropriate furniture, flooring, lighting, paint colors, fabrics, and decorative materials.
- Design Drawings: Prepare floor plans, elevations, 2D layouts, and 3D visualizations using design software.
- Budget Management: Estimate project costs, prepare quotations, and ensure projects remain within the approved budget.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, carpenters, electricians, suppliers, and other professionals.
- Project Management: Monitor project timelines, supervise execution, and ensure work is completed according to design specifications.
- Site Visits: Inspect project sites to check measurements, material quality, workmanship, and design accuracy.
- Lighting and Color Planning: Select suitable lighting arrangements, color schemes, and finishes to enhance the interior environment.
- Quality Control: Ensure that materials and completed work meet the required quality and safety standards.
- Client Updates: Share design proposals, progress reports, revisions, and project updates with clients.
