Interior & Fit-Out Manager

Role Overview

Antara Cruises is seeking an experienced Interior & Fit-Out Manager to lead the development of refined and immersive interior spaces across its luxury river cruise vessels. The role will be instrumental in bringing to life elegant, culturally inspired, and thoughtfully curated interiors that reflect the brand's ethos of luxury, heritage, and bespoke guest experiences.

The successful candidate will oversee the complete interior fit-out processfrom design development to final executionensuring each space onboard delivers timeless sophistication, superior craftsmanship, and exceptional comfort for guests.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the end-to-end execution of interior fit-out works for luxury river cruise vessels, ensuring the highest standards of design, detailing, and finishing.

2. Collaborate with interior designers, naval architects, shipyards, and consultants to translate design concepts into refined onboard spaces.

3. Ensure interiors embody Antara Cruises brand philosophy, integrating elements of Indian heritage, contemporary elegance, and understated luxury.

4. Curate and oversee the selection of premium materials, bespoke furnishings, lighting, artwork, dcor, and FF&E.

5. Maintain strict oversight of project schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks throughout the interior development process.

6. Conduct regular site visits at shipyards and project locations to ensure design integrity and superior craftsmanship.

7. Coordinate with operations and hospitality teams to ensure that all interior layouts support seamless service and enhance the guest journey onboard.

Ensure compliance with marine safety regulations and shipbuilding standards during the interior installation process.

8. Manage and supervise vendors, contractors, and artisans, ensuring timely delivery of bespoke design elements.

9. Contribute to the creation of distinctive and memorable onboard environments that elevate the luxury river cruising experience.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related discipline.

2. 6 10 years of experience in luxury interior projects within five-star hotels, boutique resorts, cruise ships, or high-end hospitality developments.

3. Experience working with marine interiors, shipyards, or cruise vessel design projects will be highly advantageous.

4. Strong expertise in luxury materials, FF&E procurement, and bespoke interior detailing.
