Description
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Delivery Leader to run day-to-day execution of our engineering organization. This role focuses on delivery, operational discipline, and team management rather than high-level architecture strategy. You will ensure that engineering teams ship reliably, maintain system stability, and build scalable processes as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Delivery :
- Own end-to-end delivery of product features
- Run sprint planning, standups, and delivery reviews
- Track engineering progress and remove blockers
- Ensure deadlines are met consistently
Engineering Operations
- Implement strong release and QA processes
- Establish production monitoring and alerts
- Lead incident response and post-mortems
- Improve system reliability and uptime
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor engineers
- Create clear accountability across teams
- Maintain high engineering morale and productivity
Hiring And Team Building
- Lead technical hiring processes
- Identify and recruit strong engineers
- Build a scalable engineering team structure
Cross-Team Coordination
- Work closely with Product and Design teams
- Translate product priorities into engineering plans
- Provide clear communication on delivery timelines
Requirements
- 8-15+ years experience in software engineering
- Prior experience as Engineering Manager / Head of Engineering / Delivery Lead
- Strong track record of shipping products consistently
- Experience implementing engineering processes and operational systems
- Ability to manage and grow engineering teams
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in startup or high-growth environments
- Familiarity with modern development practices (CI/CD, monitoring, cloud infrastructure)
- Exposure to AI-enabled development tools is a plus
