Intellimatch/SQL Developer - Director - Data & Analytics Engineering

Profile Description

We're seeking someone to join our FRPPE Tech team as a Intellimatch/SQL Developer , in Operations Technology to support the complexity and diversity of our business, a strong governance, control and risk management programme is required. The Operations group is a core part of this effort in helping the Firm identify and track the effectiveness of key protocols supporting this effort. Reconciliation team partnering with Global operations group focuses on providing smart, cost effective, optimal and holistic solutions to the Operations groups across various business units. This enables them to perform various checks and controls to ensure the accuracy of the Firms Books and Records along with mitigating risks to the Firm (Settlement, Operational and Systemic).

Data & Analytics Engineering

This is Director position that provides specialist data analysis and expertise that drive decision-making and business insights as well as crafting data pipelines, implementing data models, optimizing data processes for improved data accuracy and accessibility, including applying machine learning and AI-based techniques.

What You'll Do In The Role

Proactive engagement and interaction with the various leads to understand and capture requirements

Enhancing and building out new reconciliations and other functionality

Designing and implementing reusable components that add functionality to the existing infrastructure

Automate the testing and deployment capabilities thereby enabling the team to be Agile

Ensuring proper tooling is in place to monitor and improve stability of the plant

Handling production issues and user tickets

Working in a global team environment

What You'll Bring To The Role

Hands on experience on Intellimatch Classic / Intellimatch NextGen

Good knowledge of relational databases, SQL and Performance tuning

Basic Python development experience (debugging + writing optimized code)

Experience with ETL tools like Informatica will be nice to have

Experience with scripting/Autosys will be helpful

GenAI tools (e.g., Copilot)

Unix/Linux commands

Experience in Agile Methodology, Agile development practices

Self-starter with strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills

Highly motivated to expand their technical and business knowledge and understanding.

Prior experience of working in Finance industry and in global teams
