Your Role And Responsibilities

  • Provide end to end specialist support on patent and trademark procedures.
  • Supporting attorneys in global patent and trademark filings and prosecution.
  • Updating and maintaining daily dockets for clients worldwide and following up on patent and trademark application filings, prosecution, etc. with clients.
  • Updating software databases, formulating and sending emails, and communicating with clients/attorneys over conference calls.
  • Preparing PTO documents, e.g. Information disclosure statements, patent assignments, declarations, power of attorneys, title amendments worldwide etc.
  • Checking bibliographic, assignment and priority details from PTO registers, file histories and assignment databases.
  • Proofread patent documents and identify errors introduced by patent office and/or by applicant.
  • Instructing trademark renewals
  • Managing efficient and on-time project delivery with a high standard of quality.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

At least 5 years experiences in patent and trademark specialist practices

  • Basic understanding of patent and trademark laws and practices in India
  • Ability to effectively team and collaborate with colleagues in the same field and with people from multiple cultures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Error free data entry and attention to details.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

Proficient in using Anaqua system, experience of supporting other AP countries outside of India, experience of supporting trademark, invoices etc. from paralegal perspective.
