Title: IP Analyst Manager
Location: Mumbai
Job Purpose:
To provide accurate evaluation of patent data and capture the essence succinctly. Provide support in various IP activities
Job Accountabilities:
- Data mining from patent and non-patent literature for patent analytics and drawing inference.
- Able to use AI based IP tools
- Evaluate inventions and provide patentability opinions
- Suggesting design around for non-patentable inventions
- Analyzing patents for presenting technological landscape reports
- Patent draft review and claim scoping
- Support in patent drafting
- Review response to patent examination report and provide inputs
- Evaluate external publications from the perspective of IP compliance
- Provide support for claim overlap analysis and Standard mapping.
- Generate content for IP awareness and support conducting training sessions Compile the data required for IP Audit
Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills):
- Well versed with key concepts of 6G/5G/4G Telecommunication, Wireless Technologies, Chipsets, TCP/IP Layers etc., Cloud, Devices, Media delivery.
- Knowledge about Intellectual property laws of India, US & EPO preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Sound knowledge about MS office and advanced functions such as excel macros and formulae including Search tools as well as AI IP tools.
Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications):
- At least bachelor's degree in engineering (ECE/CS) or master's degree in science in Electronics and Communication (ECE) or Computer Science (CS)/ Information Technology.
- Patent agent/diploma in IP/LLB (IP Hons.) (IIT KGP) will be preferred.
- At least 3 years in related area of Technology and IP.
