Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree from recognized university in instrumentation engineering / Petroleum engineering/mechanical engineering.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in subsea engineering design or operations with expertise in one of the following - subsea systems/ subsea operations/ subsea hardware/ subsea processing working knowledge of Subsea Production System Hardware (Wellhead, Tree, Manifold, Jumpers, Connectors)
  • Working knowledge of applying subsea engineering codes & standards, such as API 17D/6A/17H, ASME 31.3/31.8 and other relevant API, IOGP, and ASME subsea hardware standards
  • Awareness of subsea system architecture, and fundamental subsea hardware functionality
  • Familiar with operation of typical subsea system including general layout, process flow and chemical distribution.
  • Familiarity with the development of PFD / P&IDs and design specification of process equipment.
  • Familiar with the different types of subsea control systems (SCM, SDU, UTA, Flying leads), topside systems (MCS, EPU and HPU) and interfaces

Work Experience

  • Awareness of basic subsea system architecture, and fundamental subsea hardware functionality.
  • Familiar with operation of typical subsea system including general layout, process flow and chemical distribution.
  • Familiarity with subsea processing technology is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the development of PFD / P&IDs and design specification of process equipment.
  • Good knowledge of industry standards and practices related to process design and safety
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
