Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled IBM Sterling B2Bi Consultant with hands-on expertise in Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling File Gateway, and ITX (IBM Transformation Extender). The candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting B2B/EDI integration solutions to meet enterprise-level requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement B2B/EDI integrations using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi).
- Configure and manage Sterling File Gateway (SFG) for secure file transfers.
- Work with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) to create and manage maps for data transformation.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.
- Perform administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Sterling B2Bi environments.
- Ensure compliance with security, SLA, and performance requirements.
- Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to client teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 8 years of experience in B2B/EDI integration projects.
- Strong expertise in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi) development, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Sterling File Gateway (SFG).
- Proficiency with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) for data transformation mapping.
- Solid understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, etc.) and integration patterns.
- Knowledge of secure communication protocols (SFTP, FTPS, AS2, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
- Exposure to high availability and clustered Sterling environments.
- Experience with DevOps/automation for B2Bi deployments.
- Knowledge of cloud-based B2B integration platforms.
