Job Description

Lead Integration (.NET) (10–12 Years)

Role Purpose

The Lead Integration is responsible for leading integration development activities across customer implementations and ensuring delivery of scalable, secure, and maintainable integration solutions.

The role provides technical leadership for Integration Developers, establishes integration standards and best practices, and works closely with Implementation Architects, Camel Configurators, Business Analysts, QA teams, and Product Teams to deliver successful customer implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead integration development activities across customer implementations and delivery teams.
  • Design, develop, and review APIs, microservices, connectors, extension services, and enterprise integration solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to Integration Developers on architecture, development approaches, coding standards, and implementation best practices.
  • Collaborate with Apache Camel Developers and Implementation Architects to design and deliver end-to-end integration solutions.
  • Design and develop complex integrations, custom connectors, and extension services where required.
  • Design and develop complex integrations, custom connectors, middleware services, and platform extensions to support customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain reusable integration frameworks, accelerators, APIs, connectors, and shared components.
  • Participate in solution design, technical estimation, architecture reviews, and implementation planning activities.
  • Ensure integration solutions meet security, performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability requirements.
  • Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and technical quality assessments across integration workstreams.
  • Troubleshoot complex integration, API, and application issues through root cause analysis and hands-on debugging
  • Support testing, deployment, production cutovers, and go-live activities for customer implementations.
  • Contribute to integration governance, development standards, implementation playbooks, and technical best practices.
  • Mentor developers, support capability development, and promote knowledge sharing across implementation teams.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on platform enhancements, integration strategies, and technical roadmap initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10–12 years of experience in software development, enterprise integration, or API development.
  • Strong experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain;
  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, and backend application development.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, message routing, transformation, orchestration, and middleware concepts.
  • Experience developing integration solutions using Apache Camel, Azure Logic Apps, MuleSoft, Boomi, WSO2, or similar enterprise integration and orchestration platforms.
  • Experience working with JSON, JavaScript, XML, REST APIs, SOAP services, and API-driven integrations.
  • Experience with integration protocols and messaging technologies such as HTTP, REST, SOAP, Kafka, JMS, SFTP, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, or similar platforms.
  • Experience developing and deploying integration solutions in cloud environments such as Azure.
  • Experience with Docker, containerized deployments, and microservices architectures.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automated deployment processes.
  • Experience leading development teams and reviewing technical deliverables.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Proven experience working with insurance carriers and clients across North America or Europe.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to workflow automation and orchestration platforms such as Camunda, Flowable, n8n, or similar technologies.
  • Experience implementing intelligent automation, document processing, or AI-enabled solutions.
  • Microsoft Azure, Integration, or Cloud certifications.
  • Demonstrated willingness to cross-skill across workflow automation, business rules, forms, AI-enabled solutions, and related implementation technologies
  • Agile/Scrum or technical leadership certifications.
