Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Integration Engineer with strong expertise in Workforce Integration and PT-103 certification. The ideal candidate will have advanced JavaScript skills, working knowledge of SQL, and hands-on experience implementing SOAP and RESTful web services.

The Integration Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting integrations between customer systems and HCM applications. This role requires strong technical problem-solving skills, customer-facing communication, and the ability to translate business and technical requirements into reliable integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between customer applications and HCM/Workforce applications.
  • Develop interfaces using APIs to connect customer systems with HCM applications.
  • Gather and analyze technical requirements and translate them into integration solutions.
  • Design integration architecture and assist customers throughout the integration lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement interfaces using JavaScript, SOAP, REST APIs, and web services.
  • Write and execute basic SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and integration support.
  • Configure and support Workforce Integration solutions in accordance with product specifications and customer requirements.
  • Perform unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting of configured applications and interfaces.
  • Modify and enhance existing interfaces to improve performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot integration failures and provide timely resolutions to customer issues.
  • Support SSO federation and authentication-related integrations when required.
  • Maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, code revisions, test cases, and implementation procedures.
  • Follow structured development, version-control, testing, and quality-assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with customers, business analysts, developers, and technical teams to deliver integration solutions.
  • Stay current with Workforce/HCM product updates, technical specifications, APIs, and integration capabilities.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand requirements, identify concerns, and provide appropriate technical solutions.
  • Provide responsive customer support and ensure requirements are addressed professionally and within agreed timelines.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

  • PT-103 – Workforce Integration certification is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Workforce and Workforce Integration.
  • Advanced-level JavaScript programming experience.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and ability to write basic queries.
  • Hands-on or working knowledge of SOAP and RESTful Web Services.
  • Experience with API-based integrations and interface development.
  • Understanding of integration architecture and application-to-application interfaces.
  • Experience gathering technical requirements and implementing packaged application software.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and development standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SSO Federation and authentication technologies.
  • Knowledge of HR, Payroll, or Time & Attendance processes.
  • Experience working with HCM applications and Workforce Management systems.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing integration projects.
  • Knowledge of API security, authentication, and integration best practices.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle, source control, code revision, and QA processes.
