Integration Engineer

A Fortune 200 company is building its Global Capability Centre in India, and the integration platform is the first thing being rebuilt there.

Ten years of point-to-point connections have accumulated between the ERP, the CRM and about forty regional systems. Each one worked when it was written. Together they mean that adding a country now takes a project. The company has decided to fix that properly rather than add connection forty-one, and is hiring through Flexiple for the engineers who will do it. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.

The estate you would inherit

Mostly SAP and Salesforce at the core, with regional finance and logistics systems hanging off them in whatever way was expedient at the time. Some flows are file drops on a schedule nobody remembers setting. A meaningful part of year one is finding out what actually runs before deciding what replaces it.

What you would build

• APIs and event flows that regional teams can integrate against without asking you first
• Message contracts with real versioning, so a consumer is not broken by someone else's release
• Retry, idempotency and replay handled deliberately rather than discovered during an incident
• Tracing good enough that a lost record is found by one person in an afternoon

Who you would work with

Enterprise architects who set direction and will argue with you about it, and regional IT teams who own systems you need but do not control. Persuasion is a real part of this job.

What the role asks for

• 4 to 8 years on enterprise integration, APIs or event pipelines
• One integration platform you know deeply, plus Java, Python or Node
• Practical knowledge of message brokers and the delivery guarantees they genuinely provide
• SAP, Oracle or Salesforce integration patterns are an advantage, not a requirement

Practicalities

Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Mumbai or Delhi NCR, with remote flexibility across India. Salary is discussed directly. Interviews run as an HR screen, a technical round, and a design conversation with the architecture group.
