Job Description

FalconX is a leading digital asset platform serving institutional clients across trading, credit, and treasury. We're in the middle of a multi-year transformation to rebuild our finance systems stack, strengthen controls, and create a scalable architecture that supports global growth.

We're building a new finance systems team from the ground up. Our mandate: stabilize the current landscape, modernize the core, and build connected systems that support a high-velocity business. This role sits at the center of that transformation, owning integrations that connect our ERP, banking systems, HR, travel & expense, vendor management, treasury, and broader data infrastructure.

As a Finance Integration Engineer, you'll design and implement scalable solutions across our finance technology ecosystem, automate financial workflows, integrate business systems, and ensure production reliability. If you've built integrations that finance teams actually rely on, solved messy data problems at scale, and want to shape architecture from first principles, this is the role.

What You'll Do

Design and Develop Finance System Solutions

  • Design, develop, and deploy ERP(preferably Netsuite) enhancements and customizations that drive better business processes
  • Build using SuiteCloud platform: SuiteScript (1.0 & 2.x), SuiteAnalytics, SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and APIs
  • Configure custom records, fields, forms, roles, permissions, saved searches, and reports
  • Develop and maintain workflows and automation across finance systems
  • Build reusable components and libraries to accelerate future development
  • Provide technical consulting, best-practice recommendations, and solution architecture

Build and Own Integration Architecture

  • Design, build, and maintain integrations connecting our ERP with upstream and downstream systems: HR (such as Rippling, Workday), T&E (such as Navan/Expensify/Concur), vendor management (Zip/Coupa), treasury systems, and banking feeds
  • Build and manage integrations using Workato, n8n, or equivalent middleware platforms
  • Implement real-time and batch integration patterns using REST APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth, SFTP, and event-based architectures
  • Work with cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, Procurement, IT) to define integration requirements and architectures
  • Evaluate vendor APIs and challenge poor designs early in the procurement process

Ensure Reliability and Compliance

  • Own end-to-end integration health: monitor data flows, troubleshoot failures, reconcile mismatches
  • Provide production support and resolve issues promptly
  • Maintain 99%+ system availability across all critical integrations
  • Design and implement SOX-compliant integration controls (change management, access controls, data validation)
  • Support ITGC audits with comprehensive documentation and control testing evidence
  • Implement logging, observability, alerting, and version control practices

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Partner with finance (accounting, FP&A, treasury), functional analysts, and engineering teams to ensure integration reliability
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data flow diagrams
  • Support multi-environment deployment pipelines (DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD)
  • Conduct regular system upgrades and manage deployment windows with minimal business disruption

Document and Scale

  • Prepare detailed technical documentation for all customizations, integrations, and configurations
  • Write detailed design and specification documents: use cases, test cases, exception handling, runbooks
  • Create and maintain sequence diagrams, data mapping specifications, and error-handling flows
  • Design and architect scalable solutions collaboratively with other developers
  • Establish integration governance standards and best practices for the growing team

What You'll Bring

Required

  • 6-12 years in integration engineering, with 5+ years of hands-on ERP development/integration experience (non-negotiable)
  • Deep ERP technical expertise:
  • SuiteCloud platform: SuiteScript (1.0 & 2.x), SuiteAnalytics, SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk
  • ERP APIs and integration patterns
  • Custom records, fields, forms, roles, permissions, saved searches, and reports
  • Integration tools expertise: Experience with Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar middleware platforms
  • Technical foundation: REST APIs, JSON, XML, web services, OAuth, SFTP, event-based architectures
  • Cross-system integration experience: Proven ability to integrate HRIS, T&E, procurement, treasury, and banking systems with ERP platforms
  • Operational excellence: Track record maintaining high-availability systems (99%+ uptime) in production environments
  • Compliance mindset: Experience implementing SOX and ITGC controls in financial systems
  • DevOps practices: Version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, logging/monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk, or equivalent)
  • Problem-solving ability: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to diagnose complex data flow issues independently
  • Communication skills: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, write detailed specifications, and document clearly

Preferred

  • Advanced ERP certifications: SuiteFoundation, Administrator, SuiteCloud Developer
  • Data quality focus: Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM), reconciliation frameworks, or data validation controls
  • Industry background: Prior work in fintech, crypto, payments, or high-scale transactional businesses
  • Architectural thinking: Experience designing integration architecture, evaluating build vs. buy decisions, or establishing integration standards
  • Multi-currency/multi-entity: Experience with complex organizational structures, international operations, and multi-subsidiary implementations
