As an Integration Engineer, you will provide consultative Business and System Integration services to assist clients in implementing effective solutions. Your typical day will involve understanding and translating customer needs into actionable business and technology solutions. You will drive discussions around transformation and the customer journey, ensuring that functional and application designs align with business requirements. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will facilitate the integration of systems and processes, ultimately enhancing the overall client experience and operational efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead the S/4HANA conversion activities for the Retail Outbound (OTC) stream.
Lead the assessment, design, and validation of OTC business processes during system conversion from ECC to S/4HANA.
Configure and test Sales & Distribution (SD) and Outbound Logistics scenarios in S/4HANA.
Work on Retail-specific OTC flows: store orders, wholesale, online channels, distribution to franchise/partners.
Validate pricing related simplifications in S/4.
Provide guidance to business users on new S/4 features (e.g., Fiori apps, Business Partner, Credit Management, ATP, Retail-specific functions).
Ensure smooth execution of delivery, shipment, and billing processes.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to manage data migration, cutover, and defect resolution.
Support integration with MM, EWM, FI.
Document functional designs, process flows, and prepare test scripts.
Provide hyper care and post-go-live support for OTC outbound processes.
Professional & Technical Skills
12+ years of experience in SAP SD / OTC, with at least 2 end-to-end Retail projects.
Hands-on experience in S/4HANA Conversion / Migration projects.
Deep knowledge of Order Management, Delivery, Shipping, Billing, Pricing, Rebates, and Returns.
Hands-on experience in International Trade and SAP GTS (Global Trade Services).
Ability to handle functional testing, defect analysis, and business user workshops.
Experience with Retail-specific OTC processes (Store Orders, Wholesale Distribution, Online Channels).
Strong integration knowledge with MM, WM/EWM, FI-AR, and POS/Omnichannel systems.
Exposure to S/4HANA Simplification Items related to OTC (business partner, credit management, pricing, settlement management).
Ability to analyze and resolve defects/issues during testing phases.
Experience in SAP Retail / Fashion Management solutions.
Knowledge of SAP CAR, OAA, or Omnichannel solutions.
Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodology.
