Summary

As an Integration Engineer, you will provide consultative Business and System Integration services to assist clients in implementing effective solutions. Your typical day will involve engaging with clients to understand their needs, facilitating discussions on transformation, and ensuring that both technology and business solutions align with their requirements. You will work collaboratively with various teams to drive the customer journey and contribute to functional and application designs, ensuring that the solutions provided are both practical and effective in meeting business objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and implement integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite components, including Cloud Integration (CI), API Management and Event Mesh.
• Define and implement API strategies with SAP API Managementdesign, publish, secure, throttle, and monitor APIs that expose and consume backend services.
• Configure and manage SAP Event Mesh for event-driven scenarios, design topic structures and event subscriptions and implement publish/subscribe and queue-based messaging patterns.
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, enterprise architects, security teams, and third-party vendors to ensure integration solutions align with business needs and architectural principles.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to integration developers and junior consultants through design reviews, code reviews, coaching, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Track SAP Integration Suite roadmap and best practices, proactively recommending and driving adoption of new features, patterns, and tools that enhance integration capabilities.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with API Management.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices.
• Implement synchronous and asynchronous integration scenarios.
• Develop complex message mappings (Graphical, XSLT, Groovy).
• Configure adapters (SFTP, IDoc, OData, SOAP, REST, HTTP, RFC, JMS).
• Handle exception management, logging, and monitoring.
• Implement security artifacts (keystore, certificates, OAuth2 credentials).
• Establish and maintain integration governance frameworks, including naming conventions, design standards, security guidelines, documentation practices, and monitoring KPIs.
  
  

Additional Information

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• This position is based at our Gurugram office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
