Project Role : Integration Engineer

Project Role Description : Provide consultative Business and System Integration services to help clients implement effective solutions. Understand and translate customer needs into business and technology solutions. Drive discussions and consult on transformation, the customer journey, functional/application designs and ensure technology and business solutions represent business requirements.

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Utilities CCS/WACS Integration Designer/Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and supporting integrations for Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) and Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Oracle Utilities applications, integration frameworks, and utility domain processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement integrations between Oracle Utilities CCS/CC&B, WACS, and external enterprise systems.

Develop and maintain integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOA, web services (SOAP/REST), APIs, and middleware technologies.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical integration designs.

Configure and customize Oracle Utilities applications as per project needs.

Perform interface mapping, data transformation, and message orchestration.

Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues in development, testing, and production environments.

Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and technical teams to deliver solutions.

Support deployment activities and ensure smooth migration across environments.

Prepare technical design documents, unit test cases, and support documentation.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

Experience with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF)

Exposure to cloud integrations and microservices architecture

Experience in utility domain (Electricity / Water / Gas)

Professional & Technical Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities CCS/CC&B and WACS.

Experience in integration design and development using:

  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Oracle SOA Suite
  • Web Services (SOAP/REST)
  • XML, XSD, XSLT
  • JMS / MQ

Good understanding of Oracle Utilities data model and business processes.

Experience with SQL/PLSQL and Oracle Database.

Knowledge of batch processing, interfaces, and message queues.

Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.

Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery model

Oracle Utilities certification

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle CC&B Technical Architecture.
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
