About the job:

We are seeking a skilled IBM Integration Bus (IIB) Developer to join our dynamic IT team. As an IIB Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus technology. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze integration requirements, and create scalable and efficient integration solutions. Your expertise in message transformation, middleware configuration, and troubleshooting will be crucial in ensuring seamless communication between diverse applications and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and support integration solutions using IIB, IBM DataPower, and API Connect.
  • Develop and maintain message flows, transformations, and data mappings across systems.
  • Configure and manage middleware components to ensure reliable and seamless system communication.
  • Design and implement XML schemas and service interfaces following enterprise standards.
  • Develop, test, and maintain SOAP services and integrations.
  • Implement and manage security configurations, including certificates and AAA policies.
  • Perform unit testing and integration testing using tools such as SOAPUI, RFH UTIL, and Postman.
  • Optimize middleware applications through performance tuning and best practices.
  • Work closely with clients to understand requirements and prepare analysis and design documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality integration solutions.
  • Provide production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM DataPower, and API Connect development and administration.
  • Hands-on experience in message transformation, message flow creation, data mapping, and transformations using IIB.
  • Experience with complex XML Schema (XSD) design, including complex types, XPath, XQuery, and XSLT.
  • Good exposure to WSDL and SOAP-based services.
  • Knowledge of certificate creation and building AAA (Authentication, Authorization, Auditing) policies.
  • Experience with middleware testing tools such as SOAPUI, RFH UTIL, and Postman.
  • Strong understanding of DataPower best practices and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles and implementation.
  • Familiarity with databases such as DB2 and Oracle (good to have).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of system development methodologies and tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
