Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Integration Solution Development:
  2. Design, development, and maintenance of advanced data integration solutions using AppConnect as the primary tool, ensuring seamless communication between diverse systems.
  3. Implement data transformation, migration, and validation tasks using SSIS, optimizing performance and ensuring data accuracy.
  4. Reporting:
  5. Utilize SSRS skills to create visually appealing, interactive reports, providing valuable business insights to stakeholders.
  6. Collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
  7. Collaboration:
  8. Collaborate on integration efforts, working closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams.
  9. Collaborate with database administrators and other IT teams to ensure data security, integrity, and optimal database performance.
  10. Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting:
  11. Monitor integration processes, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance to exceed predefined service level agreements (SLAs).
  12. Create and maintain detailed documentation for integration processes, data mappings, and report specifications.
  13. Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
  14. Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data integration, reporting, and transformation, and drive their adoption within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3 - 5 years of proven experience as an Integration Developer, with a focus on AppConnect and expertise in SSRS and SSIS.
  • Strong understanding of integration concepts, data transformation strategies, and report development.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing complex data integration workflows using AppConnect.
  • Advanced knowledge of data cleansing, validation, and transformation using SSIS or similar integration tools.
  • Strong T-SQL skills including querying, optimization, and data modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive results in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other advanced integration tools and technologies is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based integration solutions and data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with working in a Scrum environment, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and delivering high-quality results within agile frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and microservices architecture is advantageous.
