Role & responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain integration processes using the Boomi AtomSphere platform.
- Develop and configure integrations with Boomi's connectors such as REST, SOAP, databases, ERP, and CRM systems.
- Gather requirements, translate them into technical integration designs, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data integrity across systems.
- Build integration components including maps, processes, profiles, and connectors, while monitoring and troubleshooting performance and synchronization issues.
- Conduct unit testing, document integration processes, and continuously optimize for performance and scalability.
- Stay updated on Boomi features and integration technologies, contributing to the Integrations centre of Excellence by sharing best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and teams, ensuring integration best practices, performance standards, and security policies are followed.
- Ensure proper data governance, compliance, and integrity in hybrid cloud environments, while selecting the most appropriate Boomi connectors and components for integration needs.
Candidate requirements:
- 5 - 12 years of experience, including 4+ years specifically with the Boomi integration platform.
- Strong grasp of API formats (JSON, XML) & protocols (SOAP, REST).
- Expertise in API security (authentication & authorization) and proficient in API testing (unit, integration, contract) using Postman, SoapUI, and automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of integration requirements and validation.
- Knowledge of Java, Groovy scripting (preferred).
- Ability to manage technical/admin resources & communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Boomi Certifications: Associate & Professional Integration Developer, Associate Event Streams, API Design, Professional API Management, Associate EDI for X12, Integration Administrator, Development & Application Architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in technology or a related field required.
