Job Description
Platform & Architecture Ownership
- Lead and evolve the integration platform vision and roadmap
- Define architectural guidelines for when to use iPaaS vs. custom Java microservices
- Standardize Integration pipelines, workflows, naming conventions, and error handling frameworks
- Establish reusable integration design patterns and reference architectures
Solution Design & Delivery
- Design batch, near-real-time, and event-driven integration solutions
- Architect secure REST-based integrations using OAuth2, Webhooks, and token-based authentication
The Successful Applicant
A successful Integration Architect / Lead should have:
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts effectively.Strong hands-on experience with Java 17/21 and Spring Boot
- Deep understanding of Apache Hop architecture (pipelines, workflows, metadata management) or similar data/integration frameworks
- Expertise in integration patterns: batch, near-real-time, and event-driven architectures
- Experience with REST APIs, OAuth2, Webhooks
- Working knowledge of Kafka and/or JMS
- Experience with Docker and basic Kubernetes deployments
- Performance tuning and memory optimization experience (critical for Hop-based implementations)
