Job Description

InsurTech - Business Development Representative (BDR)BlitzenX | Hyderabad (India) | Full-Time

About BlitzenX

BlitzenX operates in one of the most specialized intersections in enterprise software: P&C insurance and Guidewire. This is not a broad market. It is a finite, high-stakes environment where every carrier knows every vendor, reputations are built over years, and mediocre work has nowhere to hide. We chose this market deliberately because we are built for precision, not volume.

We are led by people who operate at a pace and standard that most organizations cannot sustain. Joining BlitzenX means entering a team that has already proven it can outperform in conditions where others stall. The bar here is not industry average. It never has been.

This role is not about filling a seat. It is about building the outreach engine that drives BlitzenX into its next chapter. The person who earns this position will have a direct hand in conversations that shape where this company goes. That is not a line we use to attract applicants. It is simply what the work requires.

What This Role Offers You

  • You will work directly under founder-level leadership from day one. This is not a role where you are handed a script and left to dial. You will be trained on the BlitzenX model, given a defined account list, and expected to build real relationships with C-level executives at some of the most complex insurance organizations in North America.
  • You will learn how enterprise decisions are made inside regulated, high-stakes carrier environments. You will understand the Guidewire ecosystem from the inside, not as a product name but as a business reality for the carriers you are calling. If you perform, your trajectory inside BlitzenX is direct and fast. This role is the foundation for a BDM position in India as BlitzenX scales.

The Context You Need to Understand Before Applying

  • BlitzenX is not a vendor to carriers. We operate as an extension of the carrier's own team, solving Guidewire program challenges at high ownership and low cost. Our model is built around BridgeOps and Unified QA, proprietary delivery frameworks that make us structurally different from every SI in this space. When you call on a carrier, you are not selling software or staff. You are opening a conversation about a better way to run their most critical insurance technology program.
  • The accounts on our target list are all active Guidewire Insurance Suite customers. We know who they are. The job is to get inside.

Your Day, Structured

  • BlitzenX operates with a structured daily rhythm. This is not flexible. It is the engine.
  • Two hours of personalized email outreach in the morning. Two hours of account and contact research. One hour of LinkedIn activity. One hour of calling between 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM IST to reach North American decision makers during their business hours.
  • Every day. Without being managed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Research and Mapping. Work through a defined list of 40 Guidewire Insurance Suite carrier accounts. Identify and map 10 contacts per account across CIO, VP-IT, IT Director, and PMO Head levels. Document triggers, pain signals, program status, and any intelligence that sharpens the outreach for each contact.
  • Personalized Outreach. Build a tailored problem statement for every contact before drafting a single word of outreach. Execute multi-touch sequences across email and LinkedIn with no templates and no blind sends. Every message must reference something specific to that person's role, company, and program context.
  • C-Level Relationship Building. This role requires a communicator who is comfortable initiating and sustaining dialogue with senior executives. You are not setting up demos. You are opening strategic conversations that leadership will carry forward. The quality of your communication directly determines the quality of the meeting.
  • Meeting Qualification and Handoff. Qualify each prospect lightly on role, relevance, and timing. Book the meeting. Hand off to leadership with a one-paragraph brief covering account background, pain signal, and your hypothesis on why now.
  • Deal Operations and HubSpot Ownership. Log every interaction in HubSpot immediately. Maintain next steps with dates on every active deal. Send meeting recaps within 12 hours. Flag any deal with no movement beyond 5 days and take action before being asked.
  • Reporting. Participate in a Monday sync with leadership covering what is active, what moved, and what needs a push. Submit a Friday summary of new conversations, meetings booked, and pipeline movement.

What You Will Be Measured On

  • 5 to 7 qualified meetings booked per month. All 40 accounts contacted and mapped within the first 30 days. 100% HubSpot hygiene with no idle deals beyond 5 days. Zero generic outreach sent under the BlitzenX name.

Who We Are Looking For

  • You write with precision. A senior executive at a carrier should not be able to tell your message was written by someone who does not understand their world. You are research-driven and find it satisfying to understand an account deeply before making contact. You are process-disciplined and do not need to be reminded to update the CRM, follow up, or hit your daily rhythm.
  • Guidewire knowledge or P&C insurance exposure is a strong advantage and will be weighted heavily. Candidates who already understand what Guidewire Insurance Suite means operationally for a carrier will move faster in this role and will be prioritized in selection.
  • Strong spoken and written English is non-negotiable.

Compensation

  • Base depending on experience and domain knowledge.
  • Performance incentive: 2,500 rupees for every qualified meeting booked. 10,000 rupees for every hire placed on an account you opened. Year-end bonus tied to account performance.
  • This structure rewards activity quality, not volume. One real conversation is worth more than fifty generic touches.
