Job Description

Role Overview - This role will be the custodian of insurer relationships, ensuring that partner requirements are translated into customized product propositions, service delivery is flawless, and compliance standards are rigorously maintained.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Proposition & Customization

  • Tailored Solutions: Collaborate closely with insurance providers to design and customize life, health, and general insurance products based on the specific needs of Riskcovry's distribution partners.

  • Advisory & Risk Analysis: Conduct detailed risk analyses and market benchmarking to recommend the most optimal insurance solutions for client portfolios.

  • Portfolio Expansion: Proactively identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell additional or higher-value insurance products to existing client and partner portfolios.

2. Partner & Client Servicing

  • Single Point of Contact: Serve as the dedicated SPOC for managing relationships between insurance companies, internal sales teams, and distribution partners.

  • End-to-End Coordination: Oversee the operational lifecycle of insurance products, including smooth renewal processing and coordinating end-to-end claims settlement.

3. Pipeline Management & Compliance

  • Reporting: Maintain accurate, real-time data on sales pipelines, product performance, and partner engagement metrics.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all product structuring, communication, and distribution activities strictly adhere to industry regulatory guidelines (IRDAI) and internal compliance frameworks



Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field. An MBA or PGDM is highly preferred.
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of core experience in product management, underwriting, or relationship management roles within insurance companies or insurance brokers.
  • Preferred experience in managing Bancassurance and Affinity partnerships.

Technical & Soft Skills

  • Insurance Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of underwriting principles, policy structures, and claims processes across Life, Health, or General Insurance.
  • Negotiation & Influence: Proven ability to negotiate commercial terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and product features with senior stakeholders at insurance companies.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities with data-driven mindset to analyze risk, evaluate product performance, and spot market opportunities.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex insurance concepts clearly to both technical partners and non-insurance sales teams
