Job Description

  • Business Analysis
  • Conduct gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for insurance projects.
  • Elicit and document business, functional, non-functional, and technical requirements.
  • Prepare business process flows, BRD, FSD, ISD, user stories, and Agile artifacts.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Prioritize and align requirements with business goals, facilitating workshops and meetings.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams for seamless implementation.
  • Technical Collaboration
  • Validate IT solutions to ensure they meet business needs and oversee functional aspects during development.
  • Use SQL and other tools to analyze data and troubleshoot issues.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance
  • Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and system test plans.
  • Support UAT, system integration testing, and defect resolution.
  • Domain Expertise and Training
  • Provide expertise in PC Insurance and Health Insurance domains.
  • Conduct training on insurance products, systems, and business processes.
  • Create training materials, demo scenarios, and marketing collateral.
  • Strategic Contributions
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs and prepare solution proposals.
  • Stay updated on market trends to create white papers and actionable insights.
  • Drive knowledge sharing and innovation initiatives through Centers of Excellence.
  • Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Domain Knowledge
  • Expertise in PC Insurance (personal and commercial lines) and Health Insurance.
  • Strong understanding of New Business, Policy Administration, Claims, and Billing processes.
  • Technical Skills
  • Experience with Duckcreek, Guidewire (PolicyCenter, ClaimsCenter), and SQL.
  • Methodologies and Frameworks
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and best practices for business rules and UI specifications.
  • Certifications and Education
  • Preferred certifications: CPCU, AINS, or equivalent.
  • Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or related fields.
  • Soft Skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
