Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Sales Manager role based in Chandigarh. The Insurance Sales Manager will lead and develop a sales team to grow the insurance portfolio across motor and non-motor lines, ensuring sales targets and service quality standards are met. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with existing and prospective clients, and presenting tailored insurance solutions aligned with clients risk profiles. The manager will collaborate with risk management and claims teams to provide integrated advice, assist clients during policy issuance and renewals, and support them throughout the claims process. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring team performance, conducting sales reviews, training team members, preparing sales reports, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Insurance Sales and Insurance products, with the ability to design and present appropriate coverage solutions.
  • Proven ability in Customer Service, focusing on relationship building, issue resolution, and client satisfaction.
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of Finance, including premium calculations, policy terms, and portfolio profitability.
  • Demonstrated Team Management skills, including coaching, performance oversight, and motivating sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly.
  • Experience in insurance broking or financial services; prior managerial experience in sales is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field; relevant certifications in insurance are an advantage.
  • Comfort working on-site in Chandigarh, with strong organizational skills and a results-driven, ethical approach to sales.
