Sales Manager – Insurance

Solis Insurify IMF Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced, target-driven, and dynamic Sales Manager – Insurance to lead and expand our insurance sales operations across Life, Health, General, and Group Insurance segments.
We are specifically seeking professionals with strong hands-on experience in Insurance Broking Firms, Insurance Marketing Firms (IMF), or reputed Insurance Sales organizations, having expertise in managing both individual and corporate insurance portfolios.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent sales leadership capabilities, strong market understanding, and proven success in driving revenue growth through strategic client acquisition and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve monthly and annual business targets.
- Drive business development for:
- Life Insurance
- Health Insurance
- General Insurance
- Group Insurance Policies
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand market presence and generate new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, SMEs, channel partners, and individual customers.
- Conduct client meetings, product presentations, policy consultations, and business negotiations.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across insurance products.
- Ensure smooth coordination with underwriting, operations, and support teams for seamless policy issuance.
- Maintain strong post-sales servicing and customer relationship management.
- Monitor sales performance, productivity, and business reporting on a regular basis.
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards and maintain a First Time Right policy login culture.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of the sales team when required.
Required Experience & Skills
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in:
- Insurance Broking Firms
- Insurance Marketing Firms (IMF)
- Insurance Sales & Distribution
- Strong exposure to corporate and retail insurance sales.
- In-depth knowledge of:
- Life Insurance
- Health Insurance
- General Insurance
- Group Insurance Products
- Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong experience in B2B and B2C sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client convincing skills.
- Strong relationship management and business development capabilities.
- Experience in handling corporate clients and generating new business leads.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales reporting systems.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- LIC & General Insurance License mandatory.
- IRDA certification preferred.
- MBA will be an added advantage.
