We are looking for an Insurance Process Associate (SME) to bring deep expertise in insurance workflows, support process optimization, and guide solution alignment across Scry AI's insurance-focused offerings. This role is critical in embedding domain knowledge into AI-driven automation for improved efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

Role Overview

As an Insurance Process Associate (SME) at Scry AI, you will act as a domain expert across insurance operations including policy administration, underwriting support, and claims processing. You will work closely with product, engineering, and client teams to ensure that solutions reflect real-world insurance workflows and industry standards.

This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in insurance processes who can translate operational knowledge into structured, technology-driven solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Insurance Operations & Process Expertise

  • Manage and analyze end-to-end insurance workflows including policy issuance, endorsements, claims, and renewals
  • Identify inefficiencies, delays, and risk areas in operational processes
  • Recommend improvements to enhance turnaround time and accuracy

Documentation & Compliance Oversight

  • Review policy documents, claims records, and underwriting data
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
  • Support audit readiness and documentation accuracy

Domain Expertise & Solution Alignment

  • Act as a domain expert for insurance workflows and processes
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align solutions with insurance use cases
  • Provide inputs for automation workflows, document processing, and validation systems

Client Engagement & Advisory

  • Engage with clients to understand operational challenges and requirements
  • Provide expert guidance on improving insurance processes and efficiency
  • Support pre-sales discussions by articulating domain-led value propositions

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and delivery
  • Develop documentation, frameworks, and best practices for insurance processes
  • Support internal enablement by sharing domain knowledge and insights

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong experience in insurance operations, claims processing, or underwriting
  • Deep understanding of insurance lifecycle and documentation
  • Ability to interpret policy documents and operational workflows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Familiarity with insurance systems or digital platforms is a plus
