Group Core Benefits involves managing employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. The role includes designing benefit packages, ensuring compliance with regulations, and communicating options to employees. The goal is to provide competitive and comprehensive benefits that attract and retain talent. This position requires knowledge of benefits administration and strong organizational skills. Effective management of group core benefits enhances employee satisfaction and well-being. Paper Adjustments & Posting: Prepare paper adjustment files for Unearned and Historical premiums, Post paper adjustments accurately based on prepared files

  • Accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal quality and compliance measures are essential
  • Variance Analysis & Adjustments: Conduct Earned Premium Variance Analysis post adjustments, Ide Group disability coverage is tied to employment. If change or loss of job, the coverage is not portable. The cost of group coverage can also change from year to year. It is a sort of insurance that pays out if a policyholder is unable to work and earn an income due to a disability. What are we looking for

  • Problem-solving skills Process premium payments received via check, wire, ACH, online payment portals, or any other Client systems
  • Review and reconcile premium details with internal systems to ensure error-free posting
  • Ensure all items are processed as per SLA and quality benchmarks
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies by collaborating with billing, finance, and client service teams
  • Perform Wire payment processing including review of scanned checks and batch files
  • Support daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation tasks
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and process guidelines
  • Maintain high accuracy levels while working with large volumes of financial data
  • Actively conduct and participate in process improvements and identify opportunities for automation or efficiency Roles and Responsibilities:
  • In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of increasingly complex problems
  • Your day to day interactions are with peers within Accenture
  • You are likely to have some interaction with clients and/or Accenture management
  • You will be given minimal instruction on daily work/tasks and a moderate level of instruction on new assignments
  • Decisions that are made by you impact your own work and may impact the work of others
  • In this role you would be an individual contributor and/or oversee a small work effort and/or team
  • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
  • 6+ years of professional experience in Premium Accounting/R2R, Finance & Accounting process
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance/Accounting
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle queries with internal partners and vendors
  • Good typing speed and strong computer literacy skills
  • Ability to learn payment systems quickly and follow SOPs
  • Basic understanding of banking transactions (preferred)
  • Ability to work with numerical data accurately and efficiently, Any Graduation
