Job Title: Insurance Coordinator
Location: Chembur
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experienced (Minimum 0-3 Years)
- Proven experience in acquiring and managing insurance clients across life, health, and general insurance segments.
- Must be able to explain insurance plans, assess client needs, compare policies, and confidently handle objections and questions around policy terms, benefits, and claim procedures.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or related field.
- MBA in Finance or Insurance specialization preferred.
Regulatory / Other Certifications:
- Preferred certifications include:
- IRDAI Life/Health Insurance License
- Certification in Financial Planning or Insurance Advisory (e.g., CII, LOMA)
- NISM Mutual Funds/Insurance Distribution Modules (if applicable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify client needs and recommend suitable life, health, and general insurance policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with individual and HNI clients.
- Conduct regular policy reviews and ensure adequate coverage and benefits.
- Stay informed on product offerings from various insurers, policy features, and regulatory changes.
- Assist clients during onboarding, documentation, policy servicing, and claims.
- Work closely with the investment and financial planning teams to offer 360° advisory.
