As a Life Insurance Case Management Specialist Associate in the Annuities & Life Insurance Business Development Team, you will provide end-to-end support for life insurance application conversion, collaborating with advisors, clients, and partner firms. You will manage case submissions, monitor pipelines, and drive strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to work independently, engage with senior stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements that support business growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead case submission for life insurance applications for clients
- Assist with collection of client data and completion of required forms for informal and formal applications
- Monitor status of pending cases and follow up with back-office partners and carriers
- Submit application packets through Operations and Central Supervision Review
- Engage with advisors and clients to remediate onboarding and maintenance issues
- Produce and request product quotes and illustrations
- Serve as a point of escalation for outstanding items needed to support in-flight business
- Analyze and leverage business data to support business growth and produce reporting
- Manage cross-functional collaborations
- Lead key strategic initiatives within the function
- Identify and implement process efficiency levers such as automation
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree
- 5+ years of experience in the US Life Insurance industry
- Fundamental knowledge and understanding of the US Life Insurance industry
- Proven expertise in working under SLA-driven environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently while handling multiple responsibilities with high accuracy in a high-pressure environment
- High attention to detail and ability to be a dynamic member of the team
- Comfort in communicating with senior advisors and clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
